A Repentance Story (Rocks NOT Included)

Last weekend our home was the location for a baby shower with about 25 ladies from church. It was more than unfortunate that the mother shouldn’t have been a mother at the time she became a mother, but there is something about being a follower of Jesus that allows us (compels us) to drop the rocks of acting as judge and jury and allowing a repentant sinner…to repent. Mercy and forgiveness are two of the things we hold onto dearly from our Savior, and we pass it along to each other too both by necessary obedience and by the power of forgiveness that we’ve received from the cross ourselves.

Pray with us for Susie and new husband, Victor. They’ve put themselves into a difficult start as a couple and as parents, but God can certainly heal scars and bring victory through Christ as they continue to turn to Him and to receive counsel and instruction for growing a godly relationship with each other and afresh with their Lord.
