Birthday Cakes

Dayton wanted a Star Wars birthday. He missed on the piñata but this light saber cake that Bethie made is pretty cool.

Josie wanted a Barbie birthday so Krissy made a Barbie cake. She got a little too poofy in the middle…she looks pregnant to be honest. That is probably too realistic to be funny. I have to wonder when we’ll see such a doll on the store shelves. I hope I didn’t just give some toymaker an idea.

BTW…the piñata was painted gold. Had I come up with the idea earlier we’d have used pink and made it into a Death Star. That way we could have had a Barbie Star Wars piñata and made everyone happy.
