Double M Retreat – Crested Butte, CO

We’ve enjoy several days at a retreat home in the central Rockies of Colorado.  What an amazing blessing this has been for us.  I didn’t know how timely this retreat was going to be for us when I planned this.  Thank God for directing the logistics for us to be able to stay here.

The weather has been great and the first morning the peaks in view of the large windows were snow covered (see the earlier blog post with those photos).  We’ve enjoyed the scenery and wildlife.  More than anything, we’ve enjoyed the rest and quiet and the family time as well as some time to rest our minds and to spend time alone with the Lord in devotion and prayer.

After cleaning up the house and laundering the linens, we’ll be heading on to Salt Lake City on Saturday and taking in Yellowstone National Park Monday and Tuesday.  We’ll then be heading west to visit supporters in Washington state.  We’re looking forward to the trip ahead of us but at the same time, ready to be back home and getting into routine again.  We have a few weeks ahead of us before we can get to do that.

Appreciate your prayers for our travels and praise God for keeping us safe and sound (yes…sound!) thus far.
