We’re wrapping up our current leg of the “Go West (not so) Young Man” journey in Tracy, CA today where we’ve enjoyed a reunion with our friends the Heinrichs and heading south for another reunion in Turlock, CA for the weekend with our co-workers and good friends, the Burnam family.
The Heinrichs lived in Ohio and Tim was the pastor at Vermillion Baptist Church there before moving here with his family to plant Crossroads here in Tracy, CA. It’s been a great but short visit. Seeing the kids reconnect has been great fun. We haven’t seen them for exactly 6 years this week. That’s a long time for kids especially. They grow up and change a lot in 6 years. Below are some photos from “Then” and “Now.”
(We didn’t get a chance to take very good photos this morning. Tim was on a trip until yesterday afternoon and we only remembered at the last second as the kids were heading out to school that we needed to grab some photos of our visit. A little girl across the street who was waiting for her school ride was recruited to click the camera for us! We need to leave this afternoon before the kids get home from school. Dayton is sitting here missing his buddy Alyssa already.)

NOW:
By the time I see Cameron and Dayton again in November, I won't even recognize them! I hardly do now!
