Yesterday, we hosted the first MK educational co-op days for this school year. Elementary science topics were the focus for this day. As you can see from the photos, the kids enjoyed it thoroughly and learned too as they observed and interacted with this lab discovery day.
I think every family took advantage of the library yesterday. Checking our online catalog which contains nearly 7,000 items of our library collection, there are almost 500 books checked out at the moment. Praise God for providing such a tremendous resource for missionary families here in Mexico!
Sixteen MKs came (thus we had 18 MKs including our two) representing two families from the city of Querétaro, one family from Amealco, two families from Pachuca, and one other family from San Juan del Rio. Two of the families that participated were new to us and it was great to meet them and to broaden the scope of our educational ministry to minister to evangelical missionary families that are working toward the same common goals as Camino Global and serving the same Lord.
All of these missionary families homeschool. All of these missionary families are actively involved in evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership training and community outreach. We’re pleased to help them effectively meet the educational needs of their children so that these families can continue to effectively obey the Great Commission.
