Community Center Closing Ceremony

On Saturday, we concluded our fall 2012 semester of courses at the community center with a little ceremony after our English classes.  Below is a video I put together of some video clips I took on Saturday.

Praise God that one of my Saturday conversational English students stayed after class and asked many questions about the Bible and what we believe and how it compares to the Jehovah’s Witnesses (she has a friend who is one) and her own Catholic beliefs.

How awesome it was to share the Gospel with her and to give her a tract entitled “el ABC de la Vida” (the ABC’s of Life).  She obviously is thinking about her many questions.  One thing she mentioned was that she was glad to see that the tract has the verses written out because she wanted to compare the verses as written with her own Catholic Bible to see if they say the same things.  Pray for “Julia” that she may receive eternal life by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, by His Word alone.

~~edit: per Rod Fry’s comment, see his blog and co-worker, Jim Cottrill’s blog for another central Mexico community center closing ceremony held last Saturday:
