Women of Faith

A couple weeks back I shared the written testimony of Steve Saint of his divine appointment in Timbuktu, Mali.  I mentioned in my last post about a documentary that I watched on Monday.  Here is an excerpt from “Beyond the Gates of Splendor” which contains part of his father Nate’s story and that of the other four men who gave their lives for Christ in the Ecuadoran jungle in 1956.

Forty-five years later, the surviving widows share their hearts.  Their husbands gave their lives on a sandbar for Christ, but these women gave up their husbands for Christ.  No less a great sacrifice and obviously, a painful one.
