As is a tradition for us, we enjoyed our July 4th with our teammates and friends at the rancho of one of our teammates. They ask everyone not to publish photos of their family as they minister in a sensitive area and believe it or not, stuff published on Facebook makes the rounds to unforeseen eyes. (One time a pic someone else posted on their personal Facebook wall ended up on the website of their local municipal website. Can’t have that kind of publicity, especially in their location/situation.)
So here are a few pics from the day with limited exposure (so to speak) to people. We enjoyed the fellowship, the food, the fireworks, and the freedom to enjoy all the above. Praise to our God for His many blessings and for the nation of our birth and citizenship. The latter is only temporary. We celebrate our eternal citizenship too and today we did that with one Canadian, several Mexicans, and a bunch of fellow Americans. Yes…a NAFTA event. Nonetheless, we celebrated our same heavenly citizenship which will endure forever even though this one will pass from our memory in just one future momentary breath.
We hope our American family and friends enjoyed their day too.
It’s not too likely I’ll ever post another Gaither clip, but for the occasion…a grand and worthy rendition of the American National Anthem:
I can understand your desire for more Biblical knowledge (and respect that) but your ability to write and reason, at present, goes far beyond most men I know. God has also gifted you with amazing creativity, artistic eye, and a love for beauty along with the ability to capture it. Wish many more could read your posts. They are so worthy. Judy

Well that is humbling…thank you for the very kind words. If you should outlive me on this earth, I would like to ask you to write my eulogy!
