Just got back from two days of our team’s annual spiritual retreat. Once again we were able to enjoy our favorite rustic thermal, water-park resort…the one with the hard beds, no hot water, the small tile bathroom with no toilet seat, and running the shower gets the toilet all wet! 🙂 We love it though! And two nights, plus entrance to the park for 4 of us at less than $150 is a bargain!
It’s not about the facilities. It’s about our team and being together and building each other up.
The highlight was probably our Wednesday evening cookout, followed by an outdoor singing and devotional time with communion in which all the husbands/dads administered the elements to their families. Our senior dad on team gave a fitting devotion through Scriptures that speak of taking rest.
