On Thursday Beth and I drove over to Guanajuato. Normally, we have class and tutoring in Querétaro for much of the day but with three of our families traveling for a couple weeks, we had the opportunity to take a day off. Our co-workers Paul and Grace Becker had never been to this unique city. A visit there is a “must-do” event, so we took them. Beth’s mom was so nice to stay home with the boys so we could enjoy a day without kids which is a rare treat.
Having visited this city a number of times, the sights aren’t quite as interesting as they once were. However, I’ve discovered that there’s ALWAYS something different to take photos of in this city. We also viewed the Diego Rivera museum for the first time and it had some fascinating original paintings and drawings on display. No photos were allowed of course, so if you want to know what was so fascinating about them, you’ll have to use your imagination like a good artist!
Guana looks as good as ever! I don’t think I’d EVER get tired of Guanajuato!

Ok – I’d get sick going up that staircase, but it looks so interesting of a place. Love to see it.
