Blue Springs State Park

I worked at this park one summer when I was 17.  I emptied a lot of trash and cleaned a lot of bathrooms.  Good practice for life in ministry.

The weather has been unseasonably unseasonable and with such seasonal cold weather the manatees have congregated in the warmer waters of the Blue Spring run.  At least someone was congregating here.  It was a Sunday after all (slight confession to make here, I guess).  Another park guest said he was told by a ranger that they had counted 268 manatees in the run that morning.  No matter how you look at it, that’s a lot of manatees.
