That’s Good! No, That’s Bad!

We had a really nice house church party last evening to celebrate Mexico’s Independence and even more so, our citizenship in heaven.  Oh, that’s good!  No, that’s bad.

The party produced 3 bags of garbage.  Oh, that’s bad.  No, that’s good!

There is garbage pick up 7 nights a week here all year round (except for a few holidays).  Oh, that’s good.  No, that’s bad!

It was raining so hard, we couldn’t get the garbage out.  Oh, that’s bad.  No, that’s good!

The garbage can go out tonight.  Oh, that’s good.  No, that’s bad!

There are holes in the 3 bags of garbage where a rat obviously scaled the house walls and began scavenging the thrown out pieces of food inside.  Oh, that’s bad.  No, that’s good!

Obviously, the rat encountered a whole bunch of chile pepper seeds that we didn’t use in the salsas that we made for the party; apparently, the rat left experiencing a whole new culinary sensation.

Yes…that’s good!  Very good!

If you’re not familiar with the entertaining young children’s story entitled, That’s Good!  That’s Bad! you can find it HERE.  A sample writing lesson plan is available HERE.
